AIZAWL, Oct 18 - The three-day Mizoram International Documentary Film Festival, which was held at the auditorium of the State Information and Public Relations Department here, concluded this afternoon. The festival � the first of its kind in the State � was a joint initiative of the Film Division, Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and the Department of Information and Public Relations, Mizoram.
Apart from film enthusiasts, local filmmakers and students from the Mizoram University and the IIMC attended the documentary film festival.
During the event, 20 selected documentaries were screened in the morning sessions. In the afternoon sessions, master classes in filmmaking were held. Budding filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts appreciated these master classes imparted by noted filmmakers Haobam Paban Kumar and Gautam Bora. At the end of the programme, certificates were presented to 81 participants.
