AIZAWL, June 6 - Doctors in Mizoram today joined the nation-wide doctors� strike called �Dilli Chalo� by the Indian Medical Association.
IMA Mizoram branch president Dr Vanlalruata said that they sent delegates to Delhi to join the protest march from Rajghat. �In Mizoram, we called for a pen-down strike for only three hours, from 9:00 am to 11:00 in the interest of the patients who need our help,� Dr Vanlalruata said.
OPD at Aizawl civil hospital opened from 11:00am today, following the doctors� pen-down strike.
