GUWAHATI, Nov 16 - The Guwahati Branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) today staged a protest in Guwahati along with the other branches of the association across the country demanding prompt action vis-a-vis key issues impacting the medical community at large.
Doctors affiliated to the IMA, in its nationwide protest, raised their voice against the government�s proposal to dissolve the MCI and replace it with the National Medical Commission (NMC).
The IMA has been demanding key reforms towards betterment of the medical profession for the last one year, which it said remains un-addressed.
