JORHAT, Sept 7 - Golaghat has become the third district in the State to launch the Assam DARPAN DM Dashboard portal which has been developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) as a single platform to facilitate the way Government schemes and programmes are monitored and reviewed.
Golaghat Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Bothra today launched the DM Dashboard at a meeting held at his office chamber in the presence of District Development Commissioner Farid Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (e-Governance) Shyamal Kshetra Gogoi, District Informatics Officer Abhijit Kakoty, Additional District Informatics Officer Sushruta Rajkhowa, Assistant Commissioner Dr Tinku Moni Borah and DIPRO Neena Baruah.
DM Dashboard is an online tool which will help the district magistrate to monitor and analyse implementation of high- priority Government schemes, programmes and projects in the district and will reflect the performance and achievements on a day-to-day basis.
At the moment the progress indicators of the following eight schemes have been made available in the district portal, namely Swachha Bharat Mission (Gramin), MGNREGA, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) � Gramin, National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), VAHAN, Land Records and Property Registration.
As of now, DM Dashboard will be restricted to specific users of the district administration and will be available to the citizens later on.
Assam DARPAN, an important milestone in the Prime Minister�s Digital India initiative, is a significant step taken by the Government of Assam for an open, transparent and accountable Government, wherein details of key programmes and projects will be made available to the people.
