Divided regional entities will help national parties

By ANN Service

MUSHALPUR, Oct 4 - Divided regional entities will do no harm to the national parties, rather it will only help them. Only united regional political parties can check the national parties.

In order to strengthen democracy, every one should keep aside ethnic differences and come forward with constructive thoughts to ensure security of the region, said Pramod Boro, president of UPPL while talking to mediapersons at Mushalpur on Saturday on being asked about his reaction on formation of Raijor Dal under the leadership of KMSS.

He welcomed the newly-formed regional party but maintained that he was not aware if there is a hidden policy behind the formation of the party as its objective is not known to him.

The UPPL president demanded that BTC election should be held before the completion of the term of Governors rule as absence of the system of political representation for long is not good.

He added that if Hagrama Mohilary goes to the court against Governors rule, it will not help him and opposition of BTR will lead to his imminent defeat in the ensuing election.

Boro alleged that Hagrama Mohilary did not provide due justice to various ethnic communities during his 17-year-long tenure and people will show their outrage in this election.

He added that BTR is a complete constitutional system which should be implemented at the earliest.

The UPPL president, contesting from Tamulpur and Koklabari BTC LACs reiterated his confidence of winning from both the constituencies with a huge margin.
