GUWAHATI, Aug 26 - The role of elderly persons in bringing about moral resurgence and social transformation will be discussed at a special meeting to be attended by distinguished citizens at the Sudmersen Hall of Cotton University at 3.30 pm tomorrow.

The discussion, organised on the occasion of the 19th foundation day of Guwahati Senior Citizens� Association (GSCA) will be inaugurated by writer-thinker Homen Borgohain and will be addressed by Ramesh Chandra Borpatra Gohain, Advocate General as chief guest.

The Vice Chancellor of Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Dr KM Bujarbaruah, will attend the function as the guest of honour. Assam�s former Santosh Trophy captain Dr Sarat Dutta, a nonagenarian member of the GCSA, will be felicitated on the occasion.
