On the other hand, students of some peripheral regions have faced some new problems due to curriculum design and paucity of textbooks. Therefore, the teachers should come forward for writing textbooks to cater to the needs of the students. The teachers should also discuss the matter and inform the Council about the reality in the ground level so that the Council can take steps to resolve the problems, he said. The seminar took several decisions, including working out a plan to popularize, expand and document the study of history in the North East.
