GUWAHATI, Dec 7 - The 39th All Assam Inter District Chess Championship 2015 (open category) will be held at Diphu Club, Diphu, Karbi Anglong from December 16 to 22, stated a release.
Karbi Anglong Chess Association will host the championship under the aegis of All Assam Chess Association Adhoc Committee. The tournament is open to all age groups and each affiliated districts can send four players to participate in this tournament. While two players from each recognised academy can participate in this official event from which the top four players will be selected to represent Assam in the National Challenger Chess Championship.
All affiliated districts, units and recognised academies may send their names to the association before December 13.
