HAFLONG, Jan 22 - North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council CEM Debolal Gorlosa today said that no compromise will be made regarding transfer of land of Dima Hasao district to the proposed Greater Nagalim.
Gorlosa termed the media reports on the possibility of inclusion of parts of Dima Hasao in the Greater Nagalim as per the 2015 framework agreement signed between the Centre and NSCN(I-M) as false propaganda by undesired agencies for gaining mileage.
Addressing the media here, the CEM said he has full faith in the Union Ministry and added that it will never take any step hurting the sentiments of the tribal people of the hill district. He said they have also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister against any plan to include Dima Hasao in the proposed Greater Nagalim.
