HAFLONG, Aug 11 - The Measles Rubella campaign will be launched in Dima Hasao district on August 17, disclosed Dr M Changsan, Additional Chief Medical & Health Officer (FW), & i/c DIO, Dima Hasao-Haflong in a press meet here on Friday.
Dr Changsan while appealing to the media to create awareness among the masses in regard to rubella vaccination, said that India will launch one of the world�s largest vaccination campaign against measles, a major child killer disease, and congenital rubella syndrome (CRS), responsible for irreversible birth defects.
