DIBRUGARH, Jan 19 � Trishya Garodia of the city will be among the 100 toppers of the country to witness the Republic Day parade from the Prime Minister�s Box at Rajpath.
Trishya, daughter of Manju and Bimal Garodia, has been selected by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development. A total of 100 meritorious students from all over India are invited every year to witness the parade from the Prime Minister�s Box.
Excited Trishya is the only student from the State to get the opportunity and is waiting for the occasion. �I can�t believe this. I am so excited and feel so lucky,� she told this newspaper. She obtained A1 with full 10 points in all the subjects in her last CBSE exam from Shree Agrasen Academy of Jhalukpara here. She has confirmed her participation and has also secured clearance from the district magistrate here. Trishya is at present preparing for IIT from Kota in Rajasthan.
