Diba Swapna to be screened at Venezuela fest

KAZIRANGA, March 4 - Diba Swapna, meaning day dream, is an Assamese short film based on the feelings of a young boy living at Dhansirimukh in Bokakhat, It has been nominated for screening at the Five Continents International Film Festival at Venezuela.

The film, produced by Hem Chandra Bora, is the only Indian short film selected for the live screening competition at Venezuela along with other foreign (international) films.

The film had been made under the banner of Jolly Films.

The lead role in Diba Swapna has been enacted by Master Grantik, in which the local artistes of Bokakhat and Kaziranga participated.

It is worth mentioning that the Five Continents International Film Festival at Venezuela is an online festival with live screening of winning films.

The month-long festival of world cinematography features short films, video clips and web series from all over the world. The entries compete in different categories of the competition.
