GUWAHATI, July 20 - The Dewkon Memorial Inter District School Football Tournament (U-17) will kick start at the Nehru Stadium here tomorrow.
Some matches of the tournament will be played at the SAI Regional Sub Centre, Paltanbazar ground here also.
Altogether 27 district champion schools will vie for the title and ticket to New Delhi for the U-17 Subroto Cup.
The championship is being organised by the Directorate of Sports and it will be a knock-out affair. The final is scheduled for July 24.
The participating districts are: Kamrup (M), Cachar, Jorhat, Udalguri, Hailakandi, Morigaon, Karimganj, Dibrugarh, Baksa, Bongaigaon, Dima Hasao, Chirang, Nalbari, Golaghat, Tinsukia, Dhubri, Darrang, Sivasagar, Lakhimpur, Kamrup (R), Nagaon, Karbi Anglong, Goalpara, Sonitpur, Barpeta, Dhemaji, Kokrajhar.
