GUWAHATI, Jan 18 - Facing problems in transporting the requisite materials for conducting the HSLC practical exam on January 22 and 24, the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has appealed to all organisations to desist from calling Assam Bandh in view of the coming HSLC examination.
This time, approximately 28,500 students are appearing for practical exams in 469 centres across the State.
With the practical exams approaching, we want to make an appeal to all organisations to keep exam-related activities out of the purview of such strikes, said SEBA Controller of Examination Nayanjyoti Sarma.
The HSLC theory exams will start from February 14 and the Higher Secondary final exams will start from February 12.
Full-swing preparations are on to conduct the exam smoothly. We are positive about delivering the blank answer scripts by January 22, Sarma added.
