GUWAHATI, Nov 22 - On the occasion of Bir Lachit Divas, Seemanta Chetana Mancha, Purvottar is organizing Desh Bhakti Samabesh in about 50 sectors of the Indo-Bhutan and Indo-Bangladesh border in eight districts of Assam on November 24.

According to the organisers, around 50,000 citizens, including workers of the Mancha in the State will participate in the programme. They will participate in various events.

It needs to be mentioned that the Mancha has been continuously and vigorously campaigning to promote patriotism and nationalism among the security stakeholders, border area people and the general civilians through its various inter-linking programmes round the year.

We have a solid network of hard-working committees in all international border villages, sectors, districts and at the State level. The objective is to encourage the soldiers, sensitize the general people about the border issues and give a fillip to all government programmes on national security, said the organisers.
