GUWAHATI, March 4 � Principal of the State Bal Bhawan here Sampreeti Barman has resented the refusal of the Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Right food to the Bal Bhawan children at a function organised by the Commission here today.
In a letter to the Chairperson of the Commission, the principal said that to attend the cultural programme organised by the Commission on the occasion of the State Protection of Children�s Right Day, the Bal Bhawan children had to skip their meal from 8 am onwards and they were denied any food by the Commission people. She also questioned the justification of celebrating such days if the rights of the children are not honoured by the organisers themselves.
