ITANAGAR, Nov 14 - Days after BJP MP and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shanta Kumar demanded Bharat Ratna for the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, the Tibet Support Group of Arunachal Pradesh (TSGAP) has endorsed the demand for conferring the highest civilian award on the Nobel Peace laureate.

�The TSGAP strongly appealed the Government of India to confer the prestigious Bharat Ratna Award to Dalai Lama in recognition of his great services to India and humanity,� the TSGAP said in a release here. The TSGAP, which had a meeting here recently, unanimously resolved to meet the Prime Minister shortly in this regard.
