GUWAHATI, April 1 - Delhi Dynamos FC defeated Imphal City FC 4-3 via penalty shootout to annex the Millennial Cup Football Tournament title organised by the NRL Football Academy in Numaligarh.

In the match for the third and fourth position, hosts NRL Football Academy defeated Naharkatia FA 4-3 via penalty shoot out as the match ended goalless during the regulation time.

NRL Chief General Manager (Finance) Indraneel Mitra gave away the winners trophy. The man of the tournament was awarded to Avishekh Saikia of NRL Football Academy while Rahul Bora of Naharkatia Football Academy was adjudged the best goalkeeper. Mithinga Daimary of NRL Football Academy and Nani from Imphal City FC were the highest goal scorers in the tournament, stated a press release.
