GUWAHATI, Dec 26 � The Assam government has set up a committee for organising the three-day Dehing Patkai Festival from January 16 at the abandoned World War-II air strip at Lekhapani in Tinsukia district, reports PTI.
An organising Committee with Minister for Power and Industries Pradyut Bordoloi as chief patron, Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia S S Meenakshi Sundaram as president and Manje La as secretary was constituted, official sources said here today.
