GUWAHATI, March 15 - Debojit Dutta of Asom Aditya clinched the table tennis singles title in the Topcem ASJA Inter Media Sports Festival by defeating Mehdi Hussain of The Telegraph 11-5, 7-11, 11-5 at the ABITA Indoor Stadium in RG Baruah Sports Complex here today. In the women�s singles final, L Aruna Chanu of Prasar Bharati beat her compatriot Anupama Gogoi Daulagupu 11-4, 11-5 to clinch the title.
In the team event, Prasar Bharati beat The Telegraph 2-1.
On the other hand, News 18 will lock horns with Chaygaon Press Club in the final of the Harendra Nath Baruah Inter Media Football Tournament. In the first semifinal, News 18 thrashed Dainik Janambhumi 4-0 while in the second semifinal, Chaygaon Press Club trounced Pratidin Time 4-0.
