GUWAHATI, May 17 � The death anniversary of journalist Parag Kumar Das was observed across the State today. In Guwahati, floral tributes were paid by family members, friends and colleagues at his memorial in Rajgarh Road where miscreants killed him in 1996.
The Manab Adhikar Sangram Samity (MASS), of which the late Parag Kumar Das was a leader, organised special tribute paying programme in different parts of the State, including its office at Bamunimaidam, said Bubumoni Goswami, president, MASS.
Das�s contribution was recalled in a programme organised at the office of the Asomiya Pratidin where he served as an executive editor.
