DIBRUGARH, Oct 26: Following a written complaint from Deputy Commissioner of Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh with regard to harassment of patients from the neighbouring state in Aditya Diagnostics and Hospitals here, Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha has directed Additional Deputy Commissioner Partha Pratim Bairagi to conduct an enquiry a submit a report within seven days.
Recently, a few patients and their attendants from Arunachal Pradesh had alleged that staff of the private nursing home were misbehaving with them. They had alleged that a patient was forcefully admitted to the ICU in Aditya Diagnostics and Hospitals to squeeze money from them.
Besides, the ward boys and security staff of the nursing home were irritating them by begging for tips. One of the attendants' mobile phone was reportedly snatched and damaged by a security guard when he tried to record the tip seeking security guard.
