GUWAHATI, Jan 16 � As part of the golden jubilee celebrations of Dainik Asam, a State-level inter-educational institution prize money quiz competition will be organised on February 8.
The quiz competition will be held at the District Library auditorium here, Dainik Asam Editor Radhika Mohan Bhagawati said in a statement.
It will be open for students from Class 9 to post graduation level (except Distance and Open courses).
The event will start at 9.30 am on February 8. Each participating team will have two members. The competition will feature a special round on the media and journalism of Assam.
The winning team will be given Rs 10,000, while the second and third ranked teams will be given Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively. All winning teams will also be handed over books, certificates and other prizes.
Noted quiz master Prof Dilip Kumar Barua will be present as the guest quiz master.
