MANGALDAI, April 26 - Pranjal Rabha of Goalpara emerged champion in the All Assam Prize-money Cycling Championship, organised by the Central Mangaldai Rongali Bihu Celebration Committee on Thursday.

Pranjal covered the 35km distance, from Baihata Chariali to Mangaldai Gandhi Maidan, in 1 hour, 4 minutes and 12 seconds.

Kokil Das of Guwahati came second with a timing of 1:12:14 hours. Parag Baruah of Mangaldai finished third clocking 1:5 hours.

An amount of Rs 24,000 were distributed among the top three position holders.

In another cycling competition held at Sipajhar on Wednesday, Bijoy Deka of Guwahati bagged the title.
