Customers rush to banks, CSPs to avail schemes

By Correspondent

DHEMAJI, April 8 - As soon as the Central government released financial aid under various schemes through DBT transfer, the account holders are making huge rush in front of the banks and Customer Service Points (CSP) in Dhemaji district for the last few days.

It is seen that the customers in most cases do not maintain social distance, which is creating problems for the bank authority as well as the CSP operators.

In most cases, the bankers are compelled to control their customers by deploying police.

The bankers and CSP operators said that it will take some more days to serve the customers, as they have no sufficient men and machine to satisfy irate customers standing in long queues every day.

The government is paying the aid in order to mitigate the crisis faced by the poor families during the lockdown period. The government aid is being paid under PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Kishan Samman Nidhi and PM Ujjala Yojana schemes.
