GUWAHATI, June 12 In todays world, we are judged by our web presence. A departments image largely depends on a good website. The Chief Secretary deliberated at length on the new and emerging concepts in the development of websites. However, with the ever-increasing expectations of users, websites must be simple yet dynamic, informative yet authentic, user-friendly and mobile phone compliant, Pipersenia added.

In this regard, a Website Development Cell (WDC) has been formulated to help all the Departments and agencies of the Government of Assam to register their presence in the internet and social media. This team will be headed by the Chief Secretary as the Chief Responsible Officer.
