GUWAHATI, Oct 15 - A crude bomb weighing over 2 kg was recovered from Sankarnagar area in Birubari hillside this morning. Police, however, ruled out any extremist link to the recovery.
�The crude bomb was tied with a rope with some glass materials, wires, gelatin sticks and explosives attached to it,� police said. Personnel of the bomb squad later diffused the bomb. A team of forensic experts also inspected the area and exhibits of the explosive were collected for examination. A case has been registered. No one was arrested till the time of filing this report.
