JALUKBARI, June 25 - The 175th Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force deployed in the Rani Industrial Complex, launched a civic action programme on Monday to improve the living standard of poor villagers. Under this programme five villagers belonging to the poorest section of Rani area would be trained in goat-rearing.

The opening ceremony of the training was held at the headquarters of 175th Battalion. The training will be conducted by senior matter specialist (SMS) Ilakshi Deka at the Battalion headquarters till June 29. Mahesh Kumar, Commandant 175th Battalion distributed goats to the five beneficiary villagers.
