JORABAT, Sept 17 - Like every year, this year too CRPF jawans and officers celebrated Biswakarma Puja today, one day before the festival is celebrated elsewhere in Assam, in the campus of CRPF Group Centre Guwahati. The festival will be celebrated in the rest of the State tomorrow.
Hundreds of CRPF jawans and officers were seen bringing their vehicles, both official and personal, to the Biswakarma temple located inside the CRPF Group Centre campus.
During arti in the temple, Inspector General of CRPF East Zone Pradip Kumar Singh, DIG GC Kebal Singh, CO GC Sanjiba Ray, CO East Zone Sandip Singh and Laxminarayan Mishra along with other officers and jawans of the CRPF Group Centre Guwahati, 9th Mile were also present. Prasad was distributed at 11 am.
