DIBRUGARH, Dec 11 � CPI (ML) under the leadership of Subhash Sen, the State secretary of the party today took out a long procession in the city here where supporters numbering about seven thousand took part. Members of CPI (ML) raised anti-Congress slogans and condemned the State government for its �failure in all fields.�
The members highlighted the failure of the State government to check price rise, protested against the rampant corruption in different departments and also slammed the government for failing to provide food security to the people of the State. The party also demanded hike in the wages of the tea garden workers and rehabilitation of all those displaced in flood and erosion, among others. The party which is holding a two-day conference at Laxminath Bezbaruah Bhawan here will conclude the programme tomorrow.
