CPI (ML) condemns Rajnath

TINSUKIA, Feb 25 - Activists of Tinsukia District Committee of Communist Party of India ( ML) along with activists of AICCTU, Sodou Asom Gramin Shramik Santha, Sodou Asom Pragatisheel Nari Santha have burnt the effigy of Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh at Thana Chariali here today and asked him to resign from his post.

Speaking on the occasion, Subhas Sen, Secretary of the CPI (ML) District Committee alleged that the physical attack and arrest of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students� Union president Kanhaiya Kumar and some other members was nothing but a conspiracy to crush freedom of speech. Protesters urged the Government to release the student leaders.
