GUWAHATI, Nov 4 - No COVID-19 infected patient died in the State in the last 24 hours. It is after nearly four months that there has been not a single case of COVID-19 linked death in the State.
�Almost for 115 days in a row we have had to endure painful incidents of death of COVID-19 patients in Assam. I am pleased to share that today on November 4, there is no death case,� Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
The State�s positivity rate continues to be on the lower side at 1.31 per cent as on Tuesday night.
The COVID-19 tally on Tuesday night stood at 2,07,361, while the number of active cases has dropped to 8,385. The number of deaths is 934.
Meanwhile, the Health Minister today inaugurated the Kalapahar Covid Care Hospital. The 160-bed hospital is equipped with modern equipment and facilities.
