DIBRUGARH, July 24 - The COVID-19 positive cases in the district have crossed the 1,000 mark and are increasing rapidly on a daily basis. Till this evening, 35 new positive cases were detected from across the district, putting the tally at 1,035.
In the past few days, over 100 new positive cases have been detected on a daily basis.
Yesterday, till 9 pm, some 112 new positive cases were reported. Till yesterday, 351 patients were discharged after their recovery while 647 cases are still active. So far, only two COVID related deaths have been reported in the district.
