NALBARI, Aug 23 - As the teachers� fraternity has been asked to test COVID-19 within August 30, i.e., before joining duty at their respective schools on September 1, the Nalbari Health Department organised COVID-19 test camps at various schools within the district from today.
According to sources, Health Department teams have been organising COVID-19 test camps in different areas for the help of the teachers.
Such a team today organised a COVID-19 test camp at Paschim Nalbari Education Block where a good number of teachers availed the facility. Similar COVID-19 test camps will be held at Makhibaha, Bali and Tihu areas tomorrow.
The Education Department had directed the teachers right from primary to college level to carry out their COVID-19 tests before joining their respective schools and colleges on September 1.
This special test drive for teachers will continue till August 30 next.
