COVID-19 claims seven more lives in Tripura

AGARTALA, Sept 25 - Seven more persons have succumbed to COVID-19 during the past 24 hours in Tripura. The mortality rate in the State stands at 1.10 per cent. The recovery rate has increased to 73.50 per cent.

As many as 340 persons also tested positive during this 24-hour period. The West district reported most of the new cases, according to a bulletin released by the Tripura Health Department.

Currently, the State has 6,043 active cases, while 17,467 patients have already recovered. As many as 512 patients have recovered during the past 24 hours. Till date, Tripura has registered 23,766 positive cases, which is the second highest among the North Eastern States after Assam.
