GUWAHATI, May 31 - The Court of Special Judge, Assam, has reserved its order on the bail pleas of 19 ACS, APS and allied service officials till June 11.
Representing the State government, additional public prosecutors NJ Das and PK Das opposed the bail petitions moved by a battery of lawyers on behalf of the accused, who have been charged with securing jobs through bribery. �The court, after hearing lengthy arguments placed by both the sides, decided to fix June 11 for the order,� source said.
The judgment on the conditional bail plea filed by suspended chairman of the APSC Rakesh Paul is likely to be pronounced tomorrow. Paul has sought the bail citing his wife�s ill-health.
