KOKRAJHAR, Oct 9 � Residents of Jaraguri village under Gossaigaon Police Station in Kokrajhar today lynched a Bodo couple identified as Bijiram Narzary (60) and his wife Urbashi (55) on suspicion of practising witchcraft and threw their bodies into the nearby Sankosh river along the Assam-Bengal border area.
Police reached the spot but the dead bodies could not be recovered so far due to heavy current in the river.
