NAGAON, Jan 22 - Sensation prevailed on Tuesday morning at Kothiatoli Gorubandha Mikirgaon village after a youth beheaded a woman and her husband.
According to sources, the deceased couple has been identified as Maloti Biswash (52) and her husband Sukumar Biswash(60). Police later in the afternoon arrested the accused youth, Binoy Biswash of the same village.
The sources here said that the woman had taken her cow for grazing at the yard of her neighbour Binoy Biswash in the morning. But Binoy objected to this and tried to send her back. It sparked an argument between them. Amidst the exchange of arguments and quarrelling Binoy went on the rampage and out of anger beheaded her. Meanwhile, her husband Sukumar Biswash when he saw the entire gruesome incident in front of his eyes, rushed to the spot. Binoy chopped him to death too on the spot with the same �dao� and left the scene immediately.
Later on the local police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the couple and sent them for postmortem. Subsequently, Kothiatoli police arrested the accused youth Binoy when he was hiding. A case has already been registered against the brutal killing at the Kothiatoli police outpost.
