JORABAT, Sept 21 - A joint team of Basistha PS and Jorabat Police Outpost seized around 30 cartons (4,800 bottles) of smuggled cough syrup from a container truck here this evening.
Police said the truck (TR 01Y 1850) was carrying a huge consignment of empty cartons in the midst of which the cough syrup was kept hidden.
It was on its way to Tripura from Nalapara area here. The truck driver and the helper have been detained.
