SILCHAR, May 14 - A day after the clash between a labourer of Digarkhal stone quarry and a police officer of Gumrah police outpost resulted into violence at Digarkhal, two police officers have been suspended.
Cachar SP Rajveer Singh informed that ASI Tarun Malakar and UBC Abhijit Kemprai have been suspended. He also added that seven police personnel have been punished for their alleged involvement in the clash.
