GUWAHATI, May 14 - The Hatigaon police last night seized around Rs 17 lakh and detained two persons, including a police constable named Sanjiv Das, from Lakhimi Nagar in the city.
The other detained person has been identified as Iftikar Ali. A case has been registered in this regard at the police station.
A police source said, �A patrol team of the police station stopped a vehicle at 1 am, which had the duo in it. They were detained as they violated the curfew and carried such a huge amount.�
