GUWAHATI, Aug 3 - Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia has contributed one month�s salary to the Chief Minister�s Relief Fund for the flood-affected people of the State.

Pipersenia formally handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in his office chamber at the Assam Secretariat here today.

Director General of Police Mukesh Sahay and Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Darash Mathur have also contributed one month�s salary each to the Chief Minister�s Relief Fund. They too formally handed over the cheques to the Chief Minister. MLA Sanjay Kishan also donated one month�s salary to the relief fund.

The Chief Minister thanked them for their generous contribution to the relief fund for the flood-hit people, said an official release.
