GUWAHATI, MAY 25 � The 81st birth anniversary of the State�s tabla maestro and musician Sangeetjyoti Bibekananda Bhattacharya will be observed under the aegis of Shrutinaad with an evening of classical and semi-classical music at the Pensioners� Bhawan, Chandmari, at 5.30 pm on May 28.
Shrutinaad will also observe the 117th birth anniversary of Bauli Kavi Kamalananda Bhattacharya with a day-long programme from 9.30 am onwards on June 2 at the Pensioners� Bhawan, Chandmari.
The third all-Assam competition on the Bauli Kavi�s songs will be held on the occasion. Contestants will have to collect participation forms at the Pensioners Bhawan on May 28 when Shrutinaad�s first programme on Bibekananda Bhattacharya is scheduled.
