GUWAHATI, Nov 26 - The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) today observed the 70th anniversary of the adoption of Constitution of India. As part of the programme, the �Preamble of the Constitution� was read out by General Manager of NFR Sanjive Roy in the presence of all officers and staff at the zone�s headquarters at Maligaon. Similar events were held in all the divisional headquarters, workshops and training institutes of NFR.
Banners and posters were printed and displayed at prominent locations. The year-long celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the adoption of Constitution of India will continue till November 26, 2020. The Northeast Frontier Railway (Construction Organisation) also celebrated the Day at its Maligaon headquarters and all its field units. NK Prasad, General Manager of NFR (Construction), read out the Preamble of the Constitution.
