TURA, June 12 - Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Tuesday chaired a review meeting here in the presence of State Home Minister James K Sangma, Adviser to CM Thomas A Sangma, Chief Secretary PS Thangkhiew, and deputy commissioners of 11 districts.
During the meeting, the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) was discussed with officials of the PHE department about the status, implementation, performance and financial progress.
Issues like low enrolment with respect to Aadhaar in the State, identification of land for setting up of growth hubs at the block levels, etc., were also discussed during the meeting.
