GUWAHATI, June 3 � The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) will hold a workshop at the Rajiv Bhawan here on June 7 to generate mass awareness and sensitise the Congress workers and members of the public on the ongoing process of updating the National Register of Citizens.
Two delegates from each block Congress committee will attend the workshop. A few resource persons will impart training to the delegates about government rules, guidelines and procedures for filling up NRC forms. The delegates will be sensitised on various documents required for filling up of the NRC forms and on the procedures for inclusion of the names of the citizens in the NRC.
The delegates, in their turn, will organise training camps in their respective blocks to help and guide the common people, the APCC said in a statement.
