GUWAHATI, March 7 � The ERD Foundation will host an international conference on global warming and climate change at Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Ninth Mile, on March 22 and 23.
The meet, to be participated among others by Prof Stuart Gibbs, director, Environmental Research Institute, UHI-North Highland College, Scotland, Prof Liaquat Ali, coordinator, Biomedical Research Group, BIRDEM, and Prof Rishi Shah of Nepal Academy of Sciences, Kathmandu, will discuss the potentials and challenges of the North-eastern States with regard to climate change and sustainable management of natural resources and facilitate exchange of ideas on education, research and policy decision linked to climate change and environmental issues.
