GUWAHATI, May 2 - The third edition of the Concord Joint Sports Meet jointly organised by the Dimasa Students Community, Guwahati; Greater Guwahati Karbi Students Association and Zema Students Association was held at the Multi Purpose Sports Complex, College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara here on April 30. The two-day sports meet was organised with a motto of �Play to Unite�.
Events including football, volleyball, tug-of war, kho-kho along with some traditional sports were organised where students from all over the Northeastern states took part. The students were divided into four groups and organised the events among them.
The Yellow team emerged overall champions and they were presented Anairam Nunisa and Raismodi Nunisa Memorial Trophy. Sports organiser Bishnu Ram Nunisa handed over the trophy in the closing function. The White House and Red House became champions and runners-up in the well contested football event.
