GUWAHATI, Jan 20 - On the occasion of National Voters� Day-2020, the Kamrup (Metro) district administration is organising debate and painting competitions in the city.
The debate competition will be held on January 22 from 10 am at the Cotton University. The topic of the debate is � �Rise of Electoral Literacy will establish a Stronger Democracy in India�. The competition will be held for graduation level students.
The art competition will be held on January 25 from 9 am at the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra. The topic of the competition for Group A (classes VII to X) is �a scene of election day�, for Group B (classes XI to XII) is �vote for the right medium� and that for Group C (graduation level) is �save tomorrow by voting today�.
For the art competition, the medium is oil pastel for Group A, water colour or oil pastel for Group B and water colour for Group C.
