GUWAHATI, Sept 26 - The Culture Colloquium-Autumn 2015 was organised by Amrapali, a society for promoting art at Swahid Bhawan here on Friday.
The colloquium featured a diversified discourse on art and culture, relating it to different subjects like social sciences, women empowerment, nutrition, commercialisation and dance in different time periods, etc.
The speakers who deliberated at the colloquium were Pranaame Bhagawati, danseuse-choreographer-cultural activist and secretary of Amrapali, Kabita Medhi, teacher; Anita Sharma, Indian classical dance professional; Tikendrajit Sarma, Professor of Anthropology, North Guwahati College; Priyadarshini Sharma, advocate; Dr Hirendranath Bhagawati, nutritionist; and Krishnakshi Goswami, public relations professional.
